October 7, 2012 (Sunday)

07:00 AM – Wake up early

08:00 AM – Breakfast at Bana’s Cafe. They serve the best coffee.

09:00 AM – Proceed to tourist center and book the SUMAGUING TOUR.

NOTE:  Do not do the cave connection (which takes 4-6 hrs).  Based from my experience, the cave connection is long, tiring and dangerous. My advice for this group is to take the Sumaguing tour which only takes 2-3 hours of cave exploration. Cave exploration is P500 good for 4 people. Also, if you don’t want to walk from the tourist center to cave entry point, you can rent a van for a cost of P350/group. Our group opted to rent a van (roundtrip) and we’re glad we did.

09:30 AM – Sumaguing Cave Spelunking

02:00 PM – Take a shower to remove all the dirt in the face and body

03:00 PM – Late Lunch at Salt & Pepper Diner. The place is located above the Ug-ugo Souvenir store beside the office of Sagada Genuine Guides Association (SAGGAS).

04:00 PM – Leave for Lake Danum

NOTE: Lake Danum is just four kilometers from Sagada Municipal Hall. Hire a vehicle so you need not endure the long walk. You will be too tired to hike anyway after the cave tour. No need for a guide. Vehicle cost ranges from 400-450. On the way, ask the driver to stop by at Sagada Pottery and Sagada Weaving & Souvenir Shop.

04:20 PM – Sagada Pottery

05:30 PM – Sunset viewing at Lake Danum

06:30 PM – Sagada Weaving and Souvenir Shop
